    poserontour / April 22, 2019 / 1 Comment

Relive the emotions of Day 2 on the Grahan Trek as I reluctantly return to civilization with a heavy heart, cherishing the memories I’ve made.

Offline in Grahan: An Unforgettable Trek Experience

    poserontour / April 21, 2019 / 2 Comments

Come on an unforgettable trek with me as I am off to Grahan, an enchanting remote remote village in Himachal. A day that started with a bit of a shock and something you don’t tell your parents about until afterwards, turned into one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

On the Road to Kasol: Exploring the Enchanting Journey

    poserontour / April 20, 2019 / 0 Comments

This trip should be titled “most unprepared trip in the history of this Poser”. Since I didn’t move my bum out of bed anymore after coming back from my 24 km trek, which left me fully sunburned, I neither knew the bus timings to Kasol nor did I get money to pay the hotel bill.

A Hike to Solang Valley: Following the Cotton Candy

    poserontour / April 19, 2019 / 1 Comment

I woke up to a clear blue sky and a warm sun – which already made my day (not knowing yet that I would curse it later and beg for some clouds to appear).

The first and most important thing to do before starting my hike to Solang Valley, was to finally wash my hair! The hotel didn’t have a hair dryer and the thought alone of drying them in the cold air made me fall sick.

Jogni Falls: A Magical Waterfall and Endless Apple Orchards

    poserontour / April 18, 2019 / 3 Comments

I must’ve slept for 10 or 11 hours straight – fully deserved if you ask me. Since there was only a rather short hike of maybe 12-14 km to Jogni falls on my agenda, I felt that I had all the time in the world.

Around 10 am, my phone rang and the hotel guy asked if I wanted breakfast. Ok fiiiine, one reason to finally get up. After getting ready and just locking my door, one of the hotel guys randomly came up and unexpectedly brought my order – great! Breakfast on the balcony it was then 🙂

Exploring Manali: A rainy day in the hills

    poserontour / April 17, 2019 / 4 Comments

After 15 hr on the bus (why can’t they have sleeper busses on this route? 🙁 ), I reached Manali around 11 am. I knew already that it would rain and was slightly concerned about the roads when leaving. Fortunately, it was only a light drizzle so there weren’t any issues. Seeing some old landslides on the way still makes me a bit nervous…

The Hills Are Calling: Trekking in Himachal Pradesh

    poserontour / April 17, 2019 / 0 Comments

“When are you going?” “I don’t know.”

“And where are you going?” “I don’t know.”

What a great planner I am! This time I actually didn’t know any details about my trip until 2 days before I left. All I knew was that I wanted to go trekking in Himachal Pradesh – or at least somewhere 😀
In my defense, this cluelessness was not really due to my laziness but simply because a friend could not decide whether he’d tag along or not.
